How Can I Remove the JS/Kryptik.I

JS/Kryptik.I is a sleek and professional software tool that's meant to be able to rid your PC for Spyware & Viruses. This would be okay, except it does nothing of the sort... in fact, JS/Kryptik.I is one of the biggest pieces of malware / viruses floating around the Internet and if you want to get rid of it, you'll know how difficult it can be. Luckily, there's an easy way to uninstall JS/Kryptik.I which even a beginner can do.

The problem with JS/Kryptik.I is that since it's a rogue piece of software, it does not have its own uninstall facility which you can rely on. Instead, you need to use the same method that computer technicians do to remove programs from their computer - by removing their files and then their "links" into Windows. This method can be a little tricky, but if you've been using computers for a little while, it should be straight forward;

To uninstall the TS software, you first need to remove its program files. These are the files that make TS run, and if you delete them, the program will not work again. To remove these files, you simply need to open up My Computer and then head to c:/Program Files/TSC. This is the folder where the JS/Kryptik.I files are kept, meaning that you need to select this entire folder and press SHIFT + DELETE on it. This will permanently delete these files, preventing the program for coming back on your PC.

The next step you need to take is to remove all the "links" that JS/Kryptik.I has with Windows. Because Windows is a very adaptable operating system, it has a big database called the "registry" where many registry keys are kept. These keys tell Windows everything from who made a program to how to run it.... meaning that if you want to uninstall the program manually you need to remove all the registry keys it has. To do this, you just need to browse to c:/Windows/ and then open REGEDIT.EXE. This will open the registry editor, which you then need to press CTRL+F to search and then type in "JS/Kryptik.I". Delete all the keys that come up, after backing up your registry of course.

Now... although this method works on the whole, it's very risky, especially if you haven't done anything like it before. The registry is a very delicate part of Windows and if you remove the wrong registry key, you could permanently damage your PC. With this in mind, if you want to uninstall JS/Kryptik.I, I would recommend using an automatic uninstaller tool such as Wizard Uninstaller
