AVG Anti-virus picked up a asrv-a.akamaihd.net virus on my computer from work. It says AVG is unable to remove this file as the original file has been removed and bundled with some system files. The laptop was extremely slow and froze down once a minute. How do you handle this problem?

3.Try to find Folder Options in Control Panel, select the View tab, and then tick Show hidden files and folders and non-tick Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) and then click OK.
4.Open Registry entries. Search malicious files and registry entries related to asrv-a.akamaihd.net and then remove all of them.
5. Delete all add-ons related to asrv-a.akamaihd.net from the browsers

Click on wrench icon-> locate Tools-> click on Extensions-> click on the bin icon or uncheck the items related to asrv-a.akamaihd.net.
