Infected with DealsFox? - How to Remove DealsFox

Hello. Yesterday I got a Trojan horse virus called DealsFox on my Dell laptop with Win 7 Home Premium and ZoneAlarm firewall. AVG anti virus notified me but could not removed it. I tried to fix it but no luck. Is there an effective and simple way that is able to catch and remove Trojan horse Generic_r.CIW virus completely? Any help will be appreciated.

What is DealsFox?

DealsFox is a severe virus belongs to Trojan family. It penetrates into your computer with share programs or games downloaded from the Internet. It can also be installed if users click hacked web sites or spam email attachments. DealsFox injects its own files and registry entries into your computer, and changes the start-up items immediately once installed so that it can be activated automatically each time users boot up their computers. It corrupts system files and program files, which can explain why your computer runs weirdly once infected. The infected machine can shut down and restart randomly; blue screen problem happens from time to time; programs cannot work properly. Besides, your system runs slowly. Once DealsFox is installed to the infected PC, this Trojan horse will start to modify system settings and Window Registry to mess up the infected machine. It keeps taking up high system resources so that the infected computer will suffer a slow performance. Moreover, other virus infections like browser hijack redirect, rogue program and even malware will attack the infected computer as well, and that is the reason it can be one of the most dangerous virus processes on the Internet, PC users should remove this nasty Trojan horse completely to keep the infected PC safe.
Dangerous Impact Of DealsFox Infection This application is capable to change the registry settings of the system. This infection contains Trojan and keyloggers which is capable to steal the confidential information from the PC. Some of the important information such as credit card details, bank account information, password etc is hacked by this application and this information is misused by the user. It is extremely important that this application is removed permanently from the PC, as if this application is not removed permanently from the PC then it may lead to complete system crash. Due to presence of this application several problems are encountered by the computer system like Google and Yahoo searches are redirected in the system. Background homepage settings are changed. Considerable slow system performance is seen including shutting down of PC, slow internet etc. Numerous unnecessary pop ups are displayed in the system which is responsible for the corruption of the Windows registry. Manual Removal Guides: 1.Reboot the PC and keep pressing F8 key on the keyboard upon PC startup but before logging in. Hit the arrow keys to choose "Safe Mode with Networking" option, and then tap Enter key to enter Safe Mode with Networking.
2.Find Ctrl, Alt, and Delete these 3 keys and then press them together to open task manager to end the process related to this Trojan, the name of the process of it is random.
3.Try to find Folder Options in Control Panel, select the View tab, and then tick Show hidden files and folders and non-tick Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) and then click OK.
4.Open Registry entries. Search malicious files and registry entries related to DealsFox and then remove all of them.
5. Delete all add-ons related to DealsFox from the browsers Google Chrome Click on wrench icon-> locate Tools-> click on Extensions-> click on the bin icon or uncheck the items related to DealsFox.
Internet Explorer Click Tools>select "Manage Add-ons">"search providers">set Yahoo or other reputable search engine as your default one>go to "search results">remove its add-ons
Mozilla Firefox Click on Firefox button-> click on Add-ons-> search for all the extensions of DealsFox from the list-> click on the Remove button on each line.

In summary

DealsFox is a tricky virus which can avoid security scanning. It can make your computer at a great risk, particularly degrading your system performance and freezing your computer up frequently. It is an annoying virus because it pops up numerous annoying advertisements; those adware carries lots of virus that accelerates the speed of computer crash. To totally remove this Trojan horse, manual removal is considered to be the most effective method.
