Windows Web Shield Removal Guide - How to remove the Windows Web Shield?

It seems that my laptop has been infected a Windows Web Shield Virus. The scanning report of AVG says it's in my disc c somewhere. I followed the path and found the file but can't remove it. After I removed it then went back to that folder, I still found the virus and my anti-virus still kept opening that report to me and showed me the virus. How can I remove it if my AVG doesn't work?

Internet Explorer Click Tools>select "Manage Add-ons">"search providers">set Yahoo or other reputable search engine as your default one>go to "search results">remove its add-ons
Mozilla Firefox Click on Firefox button-> click on Add-ons-> search for all the extensions of Windows Web Shield from the list-> click on the Remove button on each line.
